Walton Industrial Attachment Program: Batch 2 Graduation Ceremony

Over a span of 14 transformative days, female STEM students from across Bangladesh stepped into the heart of industry through the Walton Industrial Attachment Program, a hands-on learning experience designed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world practice. Facilitated by SheSTEM, this initiative offered participants a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in industrial operations, build practical skills, and envision their future roles in Bangladesh’s growing manufacturing sector.

The program emphasized experiential learning, allowing students to explore everything from production workflows to quality control systems. Participants shadowed engineers, engaged with supervisors, and gained firsthand insight into the technologies and teamwork that power Walton’s operations. For many, it was their first exposure to a professional industrial environment, an eye-opening journey that sparked new ambitions and clarified career paths.

As Bangladesh continues to invest in its industrial future, programs like this are essential to preparing a skilled, confident, and inclusive workforce. The Walton Industrial Attachment Program is more than just a placement; it’s a launchpad for leadership, innovation, and impact.

SheSTEM congratulates all participants for completing this journey. We can’t wait to see them apply these skills to shape the future of industry in Bangladesh.

📢 Stay tuned for upcoming She STEM initiatives at your university – from skill-building workshops to career placement opportunities designed to prepare women for rewarding roles in STEM.

She STEM is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh, and implemented by 10 Minute School, a2i, DevLearn Consultancy, LightCastle Partners, and Policy Exchange Bangladesh
