SheSTEM Signs MoU with BUTEX for Advancing Budding Textile & RMG Sector Engineers

In a landmark move to bridge academia and industry, SheSTEM and the BUTEX Business Club (BUTEXBC) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and collaborative agreement on March 16, 2025. This partnership marks a pivotal advancement in cultivating innovation and leadership within STEM fields. It aims to equip emerging talent with cutting-edge skills, foster entrepreneurial thinking, and strengthen synergies between educational institutions and the corporate sector.

Bangladesh University of Textiles: A Hub of Innovation

The Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), established by the Government of Bangladesh, is a pioneering institution dedicated to advancing education, research, and technological innovation in the textile and technology sectors. As the only public textile university in the subcontinent, BUTEX plays a critical role in fostering research, integrating modern knowledge, and expanding educational opportunities. With a focus on national economic growth and technological progress, BUTEX bridges the gap between academia and industry, shaping a highly skilled workforce to drive Bangladesh’s global competitiveness.
