SheSTEM has formed a strategic partnership with the KUET Business and Entrepreneurship Club (KBEC) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the SheSTEM initiative. This program is designed to increase the participation of female STEM graduates in the industry, addressing the long-standing underrepresentation of women in STEM fields within Bangladesh.

As part of the SheSTEM project, KBEC joins as a university partner, working closely with the consortium to organize a series of events and initiatives that aim to achieve the program’s objectives.

The MoU was signed by Omar Farhan Khan, Senior Business Consultant and project Manager at LCP, and Sadman Nasif, President of KBEC. Vice President Zulfia Sukanna Uddin was also present.

KBEC is a student organization at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) dedicated to developing business skills among students and promoting entrepreneurship within the university. As part of a leading engineering institution in Bangladesh, KBEC actively contributes to expanding opportunities for KUET students through various initiatives, including SheSTEM.
