CUET Mindful Futures 2025: Think-Resonate-Ascend

Mindful Futures at TRISCEND 1.0

As part of SheSTEM’s ongoing work to promote applied and inclusive STEM learning, Mindful Futures: STEM-Based Case Competition was hosted within TRISCEND 1.0, a national-level event organized by the IEEE CUET WIE Affinity Group Student Branch.

TRISCEND 1.0 brought together students from across Bangladesh to explore how technology, policy, and creativity can respond to real-world challenges. Held under the theme “Think. Resonate. Ascend.”, the event attracted 205+ participants from more than 25 universities, including BUET, NSU, KUET, and CUET.

Mindful Futures: SheSTEM’s STEM-Based Case Competition

SheSTEM supported the Mindful Futures track to encourage participants to apply STEM knowledge with ethical awareness and social responsibility.

Winning Teams

• Champion: Team RAM — East Delta University
• 1st Runner Up: Team Insightrix — BUET
• 2nd Runner Up: Team Phulkopi — CUET

Learning from Practice and Experience

Participants also engaged with professionals from industry and academia who shared perspectives on sustainability, infrastructure, and future-ready skills.

Alongside Mindful Futures, the event featured:

• Policy Making Challenge, encouraging evidence-based policy thinking
• Visions for Tomorrow: Futuristic Art Competition, co-hosted by CUET Photographic Society (CUETPS)

These tracks highlighted diverse ways students engaged with future challenges beyond technical solutions alone.

Through initiatives like Mindful Futures, SheSTEM continues to support learning spaces where students can move beyond theory-testing ideas, engage with real-world contexts, and build the confidence to participate meaningfully in STEM fields.
